The Kelvin ticks over at 100 rpm
Starting the Kelvin doesn't have to be this complicated with a magneto and petrol start! It will start first push of the button directly on diesel.
I don't usually bother with the magneto. The engine starts easily on diesel, but if it's very cold I use the thermostart, seen here.
